The route will operate seven days a week, with weekday bus trips leaving the BTC every half hour at 18 and 48 minutes past the hour from 6:48 a.m. to 7:48 p.m. and every hour at 8:48 and 9:48 p.m.
Weekend service will leave the BTC every hour beginning at 48 minutes past the hour. On Saturdays, trips will begin at 8:48 a.m. and run until 5:48 p.m. On Sundays, service will begin at 9:48 a.m. and run hourly until 5:48 p.m.
Route 17 will serve bus stops on Division Street going to the train station and Fifth Avenue on the return trip to the BTC. The closest bus stop to the University of Michigan campus is on Division Street between Liberty and Washington.
The bus stop at the Amtrak station is located at the east end of the station near the stairway that leads up to Broadway.
All AATA buses are low-floor and kneel to make it easier for passengers to carry their luggage onto the buses.
