Beckley Park
From ArborWiki
Where: On Argo Drive (map) off Pontiac Trail
Amenities: A sloped, hilly field that's great for sledding in the winter. A small well maintained jungle gym for smaller children. One mouldy old picnic table. Residents recently raised funds and installed a second set of swings.
Caveats: Street parking only. No nearby shops.
Beckley Park is named after abolitionist minister Guy Beckley, publisher of the Signal of Liberty in the 1840s. Bordering the park is the Beckley House.
