National bookstore chain (started and headquartered in Ann Arbor). Two stores: Borders #1 (yes, this is the first store ever -- it was originally located on State Street) on Liberty Street at State Street, and an Arborland store.

The new store south of town near Circuit City and Meijer's is an experimental "concept store" with an increased selection of digital products and services.
