Town that straddles the southern border of Washtenaw County, on US-23 Half the city is in Washtenaw County; the rest is in Monroe County. Like Saline, its name is pronounced nothing like its European namesake: (IPA) [ˈmɑjˌlæn], rather than [ˌmiˈlan].
