Since 2004, The Ugly Mug Cafe in Ypsilanti, Mich., has dedicated itself to providing a quality environment while embracing and maintaining a strong sense of coffee integrity. The Ugly Mug prides itself in providing extraordinary service; with baristas trained in the traditional style of Northern Italian coffee preparation, every drink is crafted with precision and care - ensuring consistency of the highest caliber.

Provides free-wifi and roasts their own coffee. According to a May 2008 article in the Ann Arbor News the inside has been renovated and the smoking section moved outside to the patio to alleviate smoke issues inside. The article also states that they offer daily "cuppings" now, where the public can regularly come in and taste different flavors of fresh roasted coffee.

Both roasted and brewed coffee is available for purchase.
