Ypsilanti has two farmers' markets, as of 2008. The older of the two takes place in Depot Town on Saturday mornings and Wednesdays, next to the Freighthouse, just north of Cross Street - in the past, this market has been located in the Freighthouse, but has been made homeless by the need to repair that structure. In 2008, the market is open Saturday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.

The newer, begun in 2006, is held Tuesday afternoon and early evening in the parking lot of the Key Bank Building, at Hamilton Street and Michigan Avenue.
